My Favorite Things

I'm not an Oprah fan, but if I was and if I had my own show and if on that show I had "My Favorite Things," this would be the one and only thing that would be on that show...
OMG, Sparkle Mod Podge! I didn't even know it existed, but as I told my sister, nothing in my house is safe! It's awesome. In the background is Annabelle's new Christmas present - her dollhouse. It's all sorts of sparkled up now thanks to an insane mom! Oh well. I can just hope to pass the love on to her. I've also sparkled all of our door decorations, wall decorations, (most of our) wall art and anything else that will stand still long enough. I'm in *love*

Peanut and egg free

Annabelle's school is completely peanut free. Her class is also egg free. Parents are asked to bring in snacks and treats all the time and we have to adhere to these allergy rules. This makes for some interesting baking experiments. Thankfully, my friend Mindy reminded me of the beauty of chocolate (or bark) covered pretzels. Here's all I needed (pretzel rods, wax paper, white chocolate bark and colored sugar):

Follow the instructions for the chocolate bark, spread it on the pretzels and the coat in the pretty colored sugar. You really can't do wrong.
Well, actually, you can do some wrong...
But, in the end, it's always a crowd pleaser (and peanut and egg free!)!

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins

Not so sure about these pictures, but I'm so loving these muffin/cupcake cups. My friend Kristy got me hooked on these chocolate chip pumpkin muffins that are so stinking easy to make. Just get a box of chocolate chip muffins (not the ones in the pouch in the picture, I think that the ones in the box are much better) and a can of pumpkin. And that's it. Just add about 2/3 cups of water and they're awesome. Cook to the directions on the box and you're all set. They are insanely good (and pretty too...)

Blogging for Dummies

Ok, so I'm officially starting this blog. It's for real. I am also going into this thing with the understanding that the only people that will truly be interested in anything I have to say will be my parents and if I'm lucky, my sisters. I am mostly doing this for me...to priortize the things that I want to do as well as to document the things that I've done. So, that's that. I hope you enjoy.
